Brokenwood, Hunter Valley Semillon #16193

Excellent colour, pale yellow with very bright green tints. Lifted lemon grass, citrus edge to the aromas. Some background Hunter ‘straw’ notes. Initial palate impression is of cut grass to straw. The low alcohol means a typical lean mouthfeel but there is sufficient lemon acid to carry the flavours. With such a young wine the ‘zest’ shines through. Finished under Stelvin Cap.
