Lindemans utilises the diverse topography and climate of Australia’s wine regions to produce complex wines that are of consistently outstanding quality regardless of varying vintage conditions. A warm and dry vintage with low yields leading to concentrated flavours. Shiraz was arguably one of the best performers of the reds with ripe fruit character and good varietal definition. Alc/Vol: 13.5% Peak Drinking: Now - 2005 Colour: Bright crimson with good clarity and depth of colour. Nose: Soft summer aromas of cherry and blueberry with subtle spice tones, buttressed by soft vanillin oak. Palate: A fruit driven style shiraz. Summer fruit develops across the palate and is matched with smooth spice and liquorice touches. Careful oak handling provides structure without dominating the wine and combines with fine-grained tannins to provide a long juicy finish.
