SPAIN VALLE DEL CINCA NUVIANA NUVIANA CHARDONNAY 2005 100 % Chardonnay The grapes for this vintage are principally from 10-year-old vines grown under the most modern methods of vineyard management, which have been modified in deference to the environment. The grapes were harvested at the optimum stage of ripeness. Gentle pressing took place promptly with a pneumatic press with a yield of 65%. Unoaked. Alcohol by volume................................ 13,5º Total acidity (tartaric)........................... 5,58 gr/l Dry extract......................................... 21,4 gr/l Straw coloured with a golden glint. Intense aroma with hints of fleshy fruits such as peaches and passion fruit. On the palate it is well-balanced and the exotic fruit characters are highlighted. It has good body and displays a marked persistence. The aftertaste is lingering and subtle. This is a young, well-balanced wine that is easy to drink and unpretentious, however it retains a hint of rebelliousness as a consequence of its youth.
