Grenache then is the ideal red wine variety for Peter Lehmann’s Chief Winemaker, Andrew Wigan, when he chooses to make a fresh, softly-textured unwooded red wine, perfect for drinking as a lively youngster. The 2002 Barossa Grenache has been bottled using the Stelvin closure to maximise freshness and quality.
