The Peter Lehmann Winemakers have selected premium South Australian Cabernet & Merlot picked at optimum maturity to produce this fruit-filled red wine, characterized by fresh berry fruit, good structure and excellent varietal definition. Drinking at its best now, or within two to three years of harvest. Colour: Clear black cherry. Bouquet: Lifted violets with just a hint of leafiness. Palate: Medium bodied with the classical structure of Cabernet Sauvignon overlaid with the softness of the Merlot. Blend: 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot Fruit source: Selected vineyards from the South Australian Riverland, just an hour or two’s drive north of the Barossa.
