Plantagenet Riesling 2003 #16179
Vintage conditions in 2003 were warm for the Mount Barker region providing near perfect ripening conditions for the Riesling fruit.
Colour: Brilliant pale straw.
Aroma: An intense lifted nose of honeysuckle with classic lime and citrus characters.
Palate: The palate of this traditional Riesling is crisp and dry and full of lime and citrus flavours. The palate is supported by a refreshing crisp acid finish.
Suggested Foods: Aperitif or delicately flavoured seafood dishes. Perfect with Albany oysters!
Technical Details: Only premium free-run juice is used for this wine. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures to retain all of the fresh lively characters. Alcohol 12.5%.
