Post House Chenin Blanc 2003 #16229

Micro-winery owner, Nick Gebers, is delighted that his Chenin Blanc was rated the best at the 2003 Trophy Wine Show. With a Shiraz and other wines resting in barrel. Post House derives it’s name from the small post office which used to serve the local missionary community of Raithby and which is now the winery office and residence. Situated in the Helderberg area, between Stellenbosch and Somerset West, this area is increasingly being recognised as one of the best wine regions in South Africa. Tasting Notes A nose of pineapple, vanilla, citrus tropical fruits and evidence of oak. Rich full mouth feel with a zesty finish. Drinking well now, but will mature for another two to three years with honey character evolving .
